The DCH Diabetes and Nutrition Center's nurses and dietitians provide education and training in self-management skills for people with diabetes and nutritional needs. These skills can delay or prevent complications and improved self-care skills.
Our Diabetes Education programs focus on four types of people: those diagnosed with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, those diagnosed with gestational diabetes, and those with an increased risk for diabetes. Our Nutrition Education program offers help with many issues, including:
