American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer

The Manderson Cancer Center is the only cancer center in West Alabama accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer, a rigorous certification program that recognizes cancer care programs for their commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality, and multidisciplinary patient centered care.

American Society of Clinical Oncology QOPI

The Manderson Cancer Center is the only cancer center in Alabama with the American Society of Clinical Oncology QOPI certification. QOPI recognizes medical oncology and hematology/oncology practices that are committed to delivering the highest quality of cancer care, while evaluating performance in patient care and safety.
