Getting Started

To safeguard the rights of DCH Health System patients, all external research studies that occur at DCH or involve DCH Health System patients are required to be reviewed and approved or exempted by an external Institutional Review Board (IRB) prior to submitting the Application for Study Consideration for Research Oversight Committee approval.

External IRB approval does not guarantee Research Oversight C approval.

Depending on the research protocol and activities, hourly fees for data extraction may be required. To discuss the process for estimating research related data fees, please contact DCH's Enterprise Analytics department through the Data Consultation link.
