We are pleased to share that DCH Health System has successfully reached a new contract agreement with United Healthcare. This ensures that DCH hospitals and employed physicians will remain in-network for United Healthcare members enrolled in Commercial and Exchange products, providing uninterrupted access to care for our patients.
Key Updates:
- Under the new agreement, DCH will remain in-network with United Healthcare through March 31, 2028 and December 31, 2027 for Commercial and Exchange plans, respectively.
- Patients will not experience disruptions in their access to care under United Healthcare plans.
- DCH’s commitment to high-quality care continues, supported by a financially responsible agreement that upholds our mission to serve West Alabama communities.
It is important to note that DCH Health System remains out of network for United Healthcare Medicare Advantage plans, as we always have been. However, benefit coverage for Medicare Advantage products remains the same regardless of in-network or out-of-network status. Patients enrolled in United Healthcare Medicare Advantage plans should contact their insurance provider for details regarding their benefits.
