Meet DCH's latest Daisy Award Winner: Kim Conway

Meet DCH's latest Daisy Award Winner: Kim Conway

Congratulations to our latest Daisy Award Winner, Kim Conway.  Here is what Kim's nomination said:

Written by a fellow caregiver: Today, while waiting to get a coffee order at the Starbucks at RMC for a speaker, Kim noticed that there was a visitor that was trying to purchase a soda from the vending machine. The visitor attempted several times with her card and could not get it to work. As this was happening, Kim got out of line and went over to the visitor and asked her what she was trying to purchase. At that point, Kim took her own ID badge and purchased the soda for the visitor. You will not find everyone doing this for visitors and patients. The visitor thanked her and said, “You are saving me. I am already late and need to get going.”

Thank you, Kim, for your dedication, compassionate care, and for making such a positive difference in the lives of your patients. Your hard work and genuine care do not go unnoticed!
