DCH Health System Promotes Daniel Conville to Vice President of Physician Practice Operations

DCH Health System is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel Conville to Vice President of Physician Practice Operations. With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare management, Conville has played a vital role in shaping physician services at DCH over the past nine years, serving as Corporate Director of Physician Services and Project Manager for Alternative Payment Models. His expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance improvement has contributed to the system’s ongoing growth and evolution.

"The physician landscape in our community is rapidly evolving as more providers are choosing to practice in West Alabama," said Mallary Myers, senior vice president and chief operating officer." This exciting growth positions DCH to better serve our communities, and Daniel’s experience will be instrumental in ensuring we meet our expanding healthcare needs—now and into the future."

Before joining DCH, Conville spent 15 years with the Tuscaloosa Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system, where he successfully managed multiple large-scale projects including negotiating a joint venture to develop and operate 50 apartments for homeless veterans on the VAMC campus.

In recognition of his leadership, Conville was named one of Tuscaloosa’s Top 40 Under 40 in 2019. He also co-authored the VA Southeast Network’s strategic planning chapters for the National Kizer Award/Malcolm Baldrige Award for Healthcare Quality in Leadership. Conville is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a Federal Acquisition Academy Project Management Certification.

A University of Alabama graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, Conville later earned a Master’s in Health Administration from the University of Cincinnati. He and his family are active members of Capstone Church.

DCH congratulates Daniel Conville on this well-earned promotion and looks forward to his continued leadership in strengthening physician services across the region.
