BEE Winner: James Falls

Congratulations to James Falls, our latest recipient of the BEE Award! Falls works in Nutritional Services at Northport Medical Center.

James was nominated by co-worker Cassie Morrison.

“James was the only cook/chef to show up to work [on a recent] morning. Being under a weather advisory and dangerous road conditions, we as a hospital still have patients to care for, which means patients and staff to feed as well.

“James cooked breakfast for the hospital by himself [that] morning. James is dedicated, hardworking and remains positive, even when faced with difficult situations. We here at Northport are thankful for our chef – James Falls!”

BEE stands for Being Exceptional Everyday. This award recognizes extraordinary service from our non-nursing staff. This means that any employee from any department (except RNs) can be nominated for the BEE Award.

BEE Award nominations will be accepted from patients, patients’ family members, physicians, DCH employees and volunteers.
