Amanda McRae Named Director of Development for The DCH Foundation

The DCH Foundation welcomes Amanda McRae as its director of Development. McRae has more than 10 years of development experience, most recently serving as director of Development for the University of West Alabama in Livingston.

In her new role, McRae will work with DCH Foundation staff, DCH Health System administration, governing boards and volunteers to enable DCH to meet the health care needs of the West Alabama community.

“Amanda is more than equipped to help The DCH Foundation secure the kind of financial assistance DCH can use to make a lasting effect on the health care landscape in West Alabama,” said Brad Leech, vice president of The DCH Foundation. “She has experience with fundraising development, major and corporate gifts, and knows the value in establishing relationships with potential donors.”

In addition to more than 10 years in higher education, she spent 16 years in the banking industry. McRae also assists with her family’s foundation, The True Vine Foundation in Eutaw.

McRae holds a master’s degree in human environmental sciences from The University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of West Alabama.
