BEE Award Goes to Sherrice Clark

BEE Award Goes to Sherrice Clark

Congratulations to Sherrice Clark, PCA, Medical Intensive Care, Unit 1, DCH Regional Medical Center, for being named the most recent recipient of The BEE Award.

Clark was nominated by Carlye Chalmers, who wrote:

“We had a patient’s granddaughter come and visit and she [Sherrice] wanted to make her feel special. She set the little girl up with her own "doctor’s kit’ – mask, cap, stethoscope, name badge, pen light and pen. The little girl said she wanted to help take care of her grandma. Sherrice helped her feel comfortable and loved and put a big smile on her face. I appreciate her including the family and making the little girl feel comfortable on the unit and part of the family.”

BEE stands for Being Exceptional Everyday. This award recognizes extraordinary service from our non-nursing staff. Any employee from any department (except RNs) can be nominated for the BEE Award. To nominate an employee for the BEE Award, click here.
