DCH Welcomes New Administrator of Fayette Medical Center

TUSCALOOSA, AL – Rodney Clark will soon join DCH Health System as the Administrator of Fayette Medical Center. In this role Clark will ensure that the hospital operates efficiently while ensuring its goals align with the healthcare needs of Fayette and its surrounding communities.

Clark comes to DCH from the North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville, Mississippi where he served as its Chief Operations Officer. Under Clark’s supervision the hospital was named hospital of the year in 2017 by the Mississippi Nurses’ Association and the Mississippi Nurses’ Foundation. While there, Clark oversaw the facility’s transition to a new patient payment portal that gave a community-based, personalized approach to every patient’s financial experience.

Katrina Keefer, CEO for DCH Health System, said one of the reasons for hiring Clark was his experience in rural healthcare. “Rodney has a track record of building long-term community relationships. He understands the unique needs of rural healthcare and how the hospital can best serve the residents who call Fayette and the surrounding communities' home,” said Keefer.

Clark earned his degree in Business Administration and Finance from Delta State University. Before his tenure in healthcare, Clark served in leadership roles in the field of banking and finance. He also served on a number of boards and associations.

Clark is replacing Donald Jones who served as the hospital’s administrator since 2014. We want to thank Donald for his dedication and service to the community.

Clark will begin his new role August 19.
