DCH Host “Give a Pint, Get a Pint” Blood Drive to Promote Blood Donations in West Alabama

TUSCALOOSA – Summer always brings an increased demand for blood supplies, and supplies are currently low at hospitals across the country.

Wednesday, July 3, 2024, DCH Health System will host a LifeSouth blood drive in Willard Auditorium at DCH Regional Medical Center between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to help meet demand. Community members are encouraged to participate and can enter the hospital through the south lobby entrance and follow the signs to the auditorium.

Everyone who donates or attempts to donate will receive a coupon redeemable for a pint of ice cream at the Patio Grille and Café. Help us support our community's health by donating blood.

To help meet demand locally, DCH Health System hosts regular blood drives at DCH Regional Medical Center and Northport Medical Center throughout the year to help our blood supplier, LifeSouth, maintain needed supply.
