DAISY Award Goes to Lexie Schoenrock

DAISY Award Goes to Lexie Schoenrock

Congratulations to Lexie Schoenrock, an RN on the Medical Intensive Care Unit at DCH Regional Medical Center, for being named the most recent recipient of The DAISY Award.

Nominated by a family member of a patient, Lexie's dedication and compassionate care truly shine in challenging times.

The family member shared, “Lexie is a rare gem in this field. She rarely sits down because she is hard at work. I never had to go look for her; she was always back in checking regularly. She was my beacon of hope in a very scary situation.”

Lexie’s hard work, politeness, and genuine compassion provided much-needed reassurance during a difficult time. The family member wrote, “Lexie went above and beyond to do everything like clockwork per requests of the family and doctors. We have seen enough hospitals and nursing staff to know how hard this job is, and not everyone rises to the occasion of this tough job like Lexie. I always knew I was in very good hands when she was with us. It helped me breathe a bit easier at night.”

Thank you, Lexie, for your dedication and for making such a positive impact on the lives of your patients and their families. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!
