Bob Tracz has been named the next chief financial officer for the DCH Health System, a hire that brings a significant amount of depth and breadth in hospital finance and administration to Tuscaloosa.
“We continue to add stellar members to our team here at DCH, and Bob is no exception,” said Katrina Keefer, CEO of the DCH Health System. “Bob not only brings with him a wealth of experience, but he is a forward-thinking leader who will be invaluable to DCH’s leadership team.”
Tracz has worked as a CFO at Upson Regional Medical Center in Thomaston, Georgia; multi-facility Quorum Health Resources in Atlanta; Lake Health in Concord, Ohio; Sylvania Franciscan Health in Toledo, Ohio; and most recently at University Hospitals/Lake Health in Concord, Ohio.
“I look forward to providing my health care finance experience and financial leadership to DCH. I understand that every market has unique dynamics that can be addressed with a collaborative approach between finance and clinicians,” Tracz said.
“My wife and I are very excited to be moving to Tuscaloosa,” Tracz said. “This is a vibrant, growing community, and I look forward to making my contribution toward the high-quality health care our community deserves.”
Tracz holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of South Florida and a master's degree in health care policy and administration from Mercer. He is also a licensed certified public accountant in the state of Georgia.
