DCH Welcomes New Head of Supply Chain

Jeromie Atkinson has joined DCH as vice president, Supply Chain.
He will lead the department’s mission to balance cost and value by optimizing supply chain practices across strategic sourcing; contracting activities for supply, capital equipment and purchased services; clinical value analysis; supply chain operations and supply distribution; supply and services contractor management; freight management; and the Mail/Copy Center.
Atkinson has worked for a number of health systems where he led supply chain functions. Most recently, he was interim vice president, supply chain, at UCHealth. That system includes 12 acute care, full-service hospitals and approximately 2,300 beds, and is anchored by a large academic Level 1 trauma center and 160 clinics serving western states.
Atkinson also held supply chain leadership positions at UPMC, a health system of 40 hospitals and more than 800 clinics, and Intermountain Healthcare, which includes 24 hospitals and 160 clinics.
He earned a master’s degree in business administration, with a supply chain emphasis, from Arizona State University, and a master’s degree in health administration from Weber State University. He also completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration/management at Weber State.
