DCH School of Radiologic Technology Graduates 68th Class
The DCH School of Radiologic Technology held graduation ceremonies for its 68th class last night at Daystar Family Church in Tuscaloosa. Congratulations to the 15 graduates who received an associate of science degree with a radiology major.
In addition to receiving a degree, several graduates received awards.
The Academic Achievement Award was presented to Ryleigh Perrigin and Kamryn Griffin for maintaining the highest grade point average in the graduating class.
The DCH School of Radiologic Technology Award of Excellence was presented to Griffin for maintaining academic excellence, outstanding clinical performance and a professional rapport as defined by fellow radiologic technologists and faculty.
The JRCERT Excellence Award was presented to Shelby Cornett, and recognizes a student graduating from a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program with the most personal achievement in excellence in the radiological sciences.
The Outstanding Clinical Achievement Award was presented to McKenzie Ellis for demonstrating the best clinical skills in the graduating class as voted on by the clinical education faculty and staff.
The JRCERT Clinical Instructor Award was presented to Hannah Hollis, RT, (R) (ARRT). Hollis was chosen by the graduates as the instructor they thought guided them the most throughout their tenure.
The DCH School of Radiologic Technology is licensed by the Private School Licensure Division of the Alabama Community College System and accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology.
