Update to the Limited Visitation Policy
DCH is revising the patient visitation limitations. Starting at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, up to two support people will be allowed per day in most areas (visitors will not be allowed to rotate in most situations). No support person will be allowed for any COVID-19 positive patients other than end-of-life events, palliative care and/or corresponding consultations.
All visitors must bring and wear a mask at all times.

COVID-19 Information
To protect patient privacy, DCH has established a minimum threshold of five for reporting numbers of inpatients with laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19.
DCH Health System internal counts as of 3:04 p.m. on 10/22/21:
- 41 inpatients within the DCH system who are positive for COVID-19.
- 11 inpatients who are positive for COVID-19 are being treated in the ICU.
- 7 inpatients who are positive for COVID-19 are on ventilators.
- 11,751 (cumulative) unique positives for COVID-19 tests including results from the ED, triage tent and inpatient. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
- 52,343 cumulative) unique negatives for COVID-19 at DCH sites.
- 14,199 (cumulative) positive COVID-19 at DCH sites. These individuals are not necessarily in the hospital.
- 108,960 (cumulative) negative tests at DCH sites.
- 4,164 inpatients (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have been discharged.
- 751 inpatients (cumulative) who were positive for COVID-19 have died at DCH. This is not an indication of the cause of death, only that the individuals were positive for COVID-19 at the time of death.
