REMINDER: Back-to-School Weekend Vaccination Event Offered by DCH, West Alabama Pediatrics, Tuscaloosa Pediatrics and Bama Pediatrics
DCH Health System is working with volunteers from West Alabama Pediatrics, Tuscaloosa Pediatrics and Bama Pediatrics to offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday, Aug. 21 from 8 a.m. – noon. This effort is focused on a weekend vaccination option for children 12 or older, their parents and school staff. However, any individual 12 or older who has not received the vaccine can register for an appointment time on that Saturday.
The vaccines will be administered at DCH’s Remote Vaccination Site in the parking lot west of DCH Regional Medical Center. The site is drive through only, so anyone wishing to receive the vaccine must come in a vehicle. A parent or guardian must accompany, and sign a consent form for, any individual between the ages of 12 and 17 who wishes to receive the vaccine.
To register for the vaccine on Saturday, Aug. 21, or the regularly scheduled Friday times, click here: https://www.dchsystem.com/covidvaccine/
