Temperature Scanners

At all DCH locations, employees have been posted at entries to scan the temperatures of everyone coming in. Now, more of those employees are needed back at their normal jobs. DCH has looked at ways to automate some of the process and has tested the OneScreen GoSafe scanner.

The scanner is basically a small kiosk with a screen, camera and sensors. Not only can it take temperatures, but it also does facial recognition and can tell if you are wearing a mask.

So far the testing has gone well, and visitors and employees will likely soon see the devices at all DCH entrances. This will eliminate the need for a human temperature taker. However, since access is still limited, someone will still hand out wrist bands and check for other things such as employee badges or visitor appropriateness.
