Employer Testing with DCH’s Occupational Medicine

In the fight against COVID-19, DCH has continually adapted to the community’s needs. This has included modifying our remote testing site to allow screening to continue even in the rain, seeking new testing resources, converting rooms to be negative pressure, adapting units to more safely handle COVID-19 patients and much more.

Now we have noticed a new need. More and more employers are sending employees to the remote site to get tested prior to returning to work. Many of those employees have no symptoms, but the employers, are seeking methods to keep everyone as safe as possible.

DCH’s Occupational Medicine already has many business relationships and processes in place, so the fit seemed ideal. An external site has been established, and the new testing service started this week. Employers can now call DCH Occupational Medicine at 205-333-4300 to work out the details and schedule times for their employees to be tested.
