DCH Health System to Host a Visit from Variety – the Children’s Charity of The United States

(February 25, 2020, Tuscaloosa, Alabama) Variety – the Children’s Charity of the United States provided a grant to the DCH Health System to help purchase two Hill-Rom Affinity 4 birthing beds.

A representative from Variety will be on-site at Northport Hospital on February 27 to tour the hospital’s maternal child unit and see one of the beds the grant helped purchase. The other bed is a DCH’s Regional Medical Center campus.

These beds are designed to support mom, baby, and clinical staff throughout the labor and delivery experience. Because each delivery has its own unique circumstances, these beds offer a solution that adapts throughout the entire birthing process.

Members of the media are invited to the tour. The details are below.

What: A demonstration of the equipment purchased with the grant and opportunities for interviews.

When: February 27, 2020, from 1 – 2 p.m.

Where: Women’s Pavilion, Northport Medical Center, 2700 Hospital Dr., Northport, AL 35476
