DCH Welcomes New Director of Imaging Services

Jacqueline Jones will join DCH on June 26.

Jacqueline Jones, MSHA, MBA, CNMT, RT(R), has accepted the role of director of Imaging Services for the DCH Regional Medical Center and Northport Medical Center campuses. Jones will begin her role with us on June 26.  

She has more than two decades of leadership experience in medical imaging and most recently served as the director of radiology for Wellstar Health System in LaGrange, Georgia.

Jones has earned multiple degrees from The University of Alabama, Troy University and Grand Canyon University and remains certified as a nuclear medicine technologist.

She recently obtained grant funding to lead an education initiative on chronic kidney disease prevention and management. Additionally, as a member of the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators, Jones has authored articles on leadership in medical imaging and served as a peer reviewer for submitted articles.

She is an active community participant. She volunteers with the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and The Links Inc. Through her participation in multiple community and professional organizations, she has given back to her respective communities.

Jones has been married for 33 years and has two children. She is a native of Waverly, Alabama. She enjoys reading and hosting family and friends.

“We are appreciative and grateful for Jim Smith’s commitment to our organization, serving as the director of Imaging Services for 29 years,” said Chief Operating Officer Mallary Myers. “He remains instrumental in helping to facilitate a smooth leadership transition while he prepares to retire June 30.”
